Lifelong Education Center Courses

Fırat University's Lifelong Education Center (FÜSEM) offers a variety of professional development courses designed to help individuals and professionals in the region enhance their skills. These programs, led by expert instructors, combine theory and hands-on experience. Participants can choose from in-person or hybrid formats, and many courses provide certifications to support career advancement. Here are some of the currently available programs:

1. STEAM Academy (Weekdays): This program, open to 10-50 participants, focuses on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education, fostering creative problem-solving skills. The fee is 5,000 TL, and participants will receive a certificate.

2. STEAM Academy (Weekends): Tailored for those who can't attend weekday sessions, this weekend version also has a 10-50 participant capacity. The course fee is 2,500 TL, and certificates are provided upon completion.

3. Swimming Course: This practical course, designed for 8-15 participants, helps improve swimming skills. The cost is 2,000 TL, with classes available on weekday evenings and weekend mornings.

4. Forensic Informatics Certification Program: Offered in a hybrid format for 20-100 participants, this course is ideal for those interested in careers in technology and law. The fee is 3,950 TL.

5. Medical Leech Breeding Certification Program: A unique program for 10-20 participants, providing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in sterile medical leech breeding. The fee is 9,000 TL.

6. Laboratory Animal Usage Certification Program: This 80-hour course, designed for researchers, offers training on the ethical use of lab animals and is open to 10-45 participants. The cost is 3,500 TL.
