Rector Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş’s Message for Republic Day

In celebration of Republic Day, University Rector Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş shared a message marking the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey. In his message, Rector Prof. Dr. Göktaş expressed: "On the 101st anniversary of our Republic, we share in the joy and pride of celebrating this significant day together as a nation. On this occasion, I respectfully honor the memory of our Republic’s founder, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, as well as all the heroes and martyrs of our struggle for independence. The Republic, born from our nation’s sacrifices for freedom and independence, is the foundation that will carry our country into the future. This valuable legacy instills in us a duty to advance our nation under the guiding principles of democracy, rule of law, and modern values. At Fırat University, we are committed to upholding the bright ideals of our Republic while striving to be a leading institution in education and scientific research. Our university sees it as its mission to prepare future generations as individuals dedicated to science, social responsibility, and national values. In this spirit, we will continue to keep the ideals of our Republic alive, serving our country with dedication to knowledge and innovation.
