Students of Faculty of Medicine Put on their White Coats

The first-year students of the Faculty of Medicine of our university took their first steps on the path of medicine by putting on their white coats at the ceremony.

The Vice Rector of our University Prof. Dr. Bilal ÜSTÜNDAĞ, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Metin Kaya GÜRGÖZE, Chief Physician of the University Hospital Prof. Dr. İrfan KAYGUSUZ, Faculty members, students and guests attended the ceremony, which took place in the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Medicine.

Speaking at the white-coat-wearing ceremony, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Metin Kaya GÜRGÖZE, stating that the profession of medicine is a profession that must be performed with care, said, "As the Faculty of Medicine, we make every effort to train qualified physicians."

Our University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bilal ÜSTÜNDAĞ, on the other hand, wishing the students good luck with the new academic year and listed the qualities that a good physician should have.

After the speeches, the students of the Faculty of Medicine of our University put their white coats on.  After the white-coat-wearing ceremony, the vocational oath ceremony for the students of the Faculty of Medicine was held.
